Time lapse Photo Response
I consider the photo (or photos) art. I understand how people may mistake it as a game but truly it's just art being shown in a creative way. The art itself shows a regular city at different times, but putting them together and having it be interactive gives it it's uniqueness. I'm guessing that the photographer tried to portray that things come and go in the world, but at the end of it all things will end up the same. I'm not 100% sure if my guess is accurate or if there was a whole different purpose to it, but that's what art is. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" or in other words, every person has their own perspective on things.

Guardian Camera Club Photo Response
1. What are your immediate feelings after viewing the photograph?
2. What is the implied meaning of the photo?
3. What interesting places could you find reflections in and around the school?
4. How does framing the photo in a reflection change the the way the subject is understood?
1. This photo was really interesting to see because it's showing a reflection, but the refection seemed very deformed, which was unusual to me.
2. I guess the implied meaning is that there are many different ways to view things.
3. I can only think of mirrors and windows.
4. There isn't much framing in this photo to me, it just looks like it's showing the whole environment.

Dear Photograph Response
1. What are your immediate feelings after viewing the photograph?
2. What is the implied meaning of the photo?
3. Do you have a photo of your past that you could retake in the present in this way.
4. Describe the location, the memory and the perfect time to do the retake.
5. How would lighting change the way your photo memory is understood?
1. After viewing this picture, it made me feel the pure power of it. The special memory of the little girl walking those steps will be cherished this way.
2. The implied meaning is that though the girl is grown, her mother will always remember her as a little girl in this special place.
3. I've taken many family photo's on a couch, so I could take a picture of my family from the past, and put it in front of where the couch use to be.
4. The location would be my family room, the memory is how happy we were before (and still are), and the perfect time would be at morning.
5. Maybe if the old photo looked a bit more dim, then we could see the change of time/technology (the past to present).

- What are your immediate feelings after viewing the photograph?
Seeing this photo made me think of the cruelty in this world, and to think that the man is about to get shot by a fellow asian, it's horrific.
- What is the implied meaning of the photo?
I think the photo is implying that the world is cruel, no matter who or where you are the world is corrupted.
- What is the subject of the photo and how does the framing, rule of thirds or other techniques lead you to believe this?
Well I can't really tell if they edited the photo r not, but making the photo black and white makes you focus on the main message, so their aren't and distractions.
- What kind of lighting is used? How does this affect the way you understand the photo?
Theres almost no lighting used what so ever, most likely because it wants you to focus on the main picture (no pun intended).

The Week in Pictures Response
- What are your immediate feelings after viewing the photograph?
I thought it was funny and cute because everyone's serious and the baby is just joining in with her mother (I'm assuming).
- What is the implied meaning of the photo?
i guess the photo is implying that have a little fun and add a baby!
- What is the subject of the photo and how does the framing, rule of thirds or other techniques lead you to believe this?
This photo is already split itself up and they put the main subject in the middle of it all, and even if you consider the rule of thirds, the subject is in the middle.
- What kind of lighting is used? How does this affect the way you understand the photo?
I don't really see much of a lighting. Everything seems evened out but I guess that means that people will focus on the subject mainly because the picture is boring, except for the subject that adds its own kind of "brightness" to it.

Picasso Painting with Light Response
- What are your immediate feelings after viewing the photograph?
It seemed like the "painting" was being rushed, I can't really see anything in the piece he created but I guess that it depends on the viewer.
- What is the implied meaning of the photo?
I'm guessing that the "painting" is implying that art should be spontaneous.
- What is the subject of the photo and how does the framing, rule of thirds or other techniques lead you to believe this?
The main "painting" is in the middle of the photograph and they made it a bright light which would attract the viewers to it.
- What kind of lighting is used? How does this affect the way you understand the photo?
It seems that they made the background of the photograph a bit dim while the "painting" is a bright light.

Photographs of Lake Eyre Response
- What are your immediate feelings after viewing the photographs?
- My immediate feelings of the photos was awe. The photos were so beautiful and so versatile from each other. I am amazed that all the photos have the same subject.
- What is the implied meaning of the photos?
- I think that the meaning of the photos is that (speaking metaphorically) though you only have one book, it holds many individual pages to see.
- What is the subject of the photo series and how does the framing, rule of thirds or other techniques lead you to believe this?
- It as pretty straight forward that the subject was the lake. They just showed the lake at different angles, times of day, and the lighting.
- What kind of lighting is used best (in your opinion)? How does this affect the way you understand the photo?
- I enjoy natural lighting because you are able to see the pureness of it. And if the lighting seems incredible, it just makes it better that it wasn't photoshopped.

Photography Timeline
Photography has dated back all the way to the 1800's and since then, it has been improving. From coloured photos, to creating films all of these things came from a long time of work. From a camera box to the big screen was a long process, but of course it was rewarding. We are not only thankful for movies that we see, but also for the picture sharing that happens through the web. Social networks like Facebook to a sharing sites like Flickr. Photography will keep on evolving throughout the years, maybe some day we'll see holograms in our day to day lives.

Film Careers
The careers in the film industry have few titles, but they stretch to many different things. From directing movies to taking control of the finances, the possibilities are endless. See and reading each career description makes the film industry seem very interesting. I never knew that actors from movies could move from being in the movie, to directing or producing movies. The film industry can also make you very famous due to the popularity of the film industry in the media. The film industry seems like a good option for a career path because you can become worldwide.

Future Media Comunication
I am hoping for the future of media communication to be more safe for my kids. Right know even with the technology that we have, media communication is still unsatisfactory. With people getting cyber bullied, to computer hacking through social networks, the results of media communication can be harmless to actually life threatening (death threats). So regarding media communication, the technology is already remarkable the way that we can contact people from other sides of the world, but thats also a risk due to the "freeness" of the users of media communications. In the future, it would be nice to teach future student about how to protect themselves while enjoying media communication, because right now, media communication has its advantages and disadvantages.

Shawshank Redemption Trailer Response
The trailer made the movie seem like a drama. Having serious things happen such as a jail sentence for two life sentences gives a good impression that it will have drama (in my opinion). Also, having continuously using the word hope, I'm guessing that that is an important part of the story and this movie ahas the potential to inspire people or open peoples mind to hope. The one thing that sticks out most to me from the trailer is that the authority (jail-keeper and such) seem like the bad guys, while the criminals in jail seem more like the good guys. Its a big twist in my head because I always thought the criminals would be the problem, but in the trailer, it seemed like one of the criminals seemed to "accept" the new guy. It will be interesting to see how the movie roles out.

Light/optics and style approach
Lighting and optics create images from images. Though you may be taking a picture of say a bird, add in some light and optics and the image could be much more than it is. Doing this can give people their own image from it. Make an image very dim and dark in most places and light in one specific place, people may pay more attention to where the light is. Placing light in right places can give images more definition. Lighting can change any image from suspense, to horror, to even peaceful, the style and approach is all up the the maker. In the video that we watched about photos had different varieties of lighting and the video didn't only use lighting and optics for style, hey also used audio which can change a lot too.

Sleepless In Seattle Video Response
The person who remade this love story into a horror (seemed more of a thriller), did a reasonable job with it. They made everything seem dark and showed very little of the actual story and made their own story, part of it came from the repetitive flashing scenes. Using the audio in the video also made a big difference. Sounds effect how a movie feels, if it sounds dark and suspenseful (like the creator of this video did) then it will seem more of a horror/thriller. If its slow or peaceful music, you know that it's going to be a nice romantic or clam movie.

School "flow"
At both times, usually I have a reasonable amount of work to do, but it just depends on the day that I get it. If I didn't have enough sleep, rough school day, or just feel down or something, I most likely won't be able to get the "flow". If my day is fine, good sleep, have plans for later, or anything else, then I can usually get he "flow" very quickly and finish things fast. Either I imagine that the work is easy and finish it right away, or I want to get it over with and do other things I have planned. I am a victim of procrastination though. Procrastination happens whether I have the "flow" or not (which I am working on). Hopefully When I do have the "flow' I will get things done earlier and not procrastinate.

Someone I Respect
I highly respect Terry Fox because when things got hard, he trucked through all of it. Terry Fox was a selfless man who gave his life to hopefully save others. He is a huge inspiration and what he did really changed the world for the better, and you can do nothing more than respect him. When he was struck with the news he had cancer and was going to die in time, he wanted to live the life he had left to the fullest. This is what I want to do in hardships in my life also. When things get tough, I want to see it as an opportunity to take. And when there's absolutely chance of overcoming it, and least go down fighting.

Personality Song
I think of myself as a positive person. I listen to many songs that reflect me, but one that popped into my head would be "Remember The Name" by Fort Minor. The lyrics that sticks out the most would be the chorus, and that would be "this is 10% luck, 20% skill, 15% concentrated power of will, %5 pleasure, 50% pain, and 100% reason to remember the name". These lyrics sticked out the most because it practically made me get through the hardships my life. You can apply it to almost anything and the last part of the lyrics "100% reason to remember the name" is practically another way of saying that you went though it all and made it.
